How did she become Cardi B?

In several interviews Cardi B spoke about her parents splitting up during when she was early teen years and did not have the greatest relationship with her stepfather. This made her come to the conclusion that life is just an extend of exercise and disappointment as she says. Early on Cardi B attended Renaissance High School for musical theater. She was said to be a great student in school and enjoyed preforming at talent shows and was often casted in musicals at her school until one day she was kicked out because of her poor grades. She says the reason for this is that she always decided to choose her friends over school. She also found herself being a part of a gang called the Bloods also known as United Blood Nation or East Coast Bloods early on in life starting at 16 years old. The gangs main source of business and income was trafficking and selling drugs. Her mother kicked her out of the house after high school which led to her later attending Manhattan Community College where she studied French and History. To make a living and to make money she worked as a Cashier at an Amish market Delhi. She has had a hard time in balancing a full-time job and school she later got fired from her around $200 a week job. The reason for this is said is she was often late she was consonantly giving her co-workers l large discounts when she was not supposed to. It was then she decided to try a different journey in life and start over.

She then decided to start a new venture and took a long voyage all the way across the street to a Strip Club called New York Dolls where she began to work. To her surprise she made $300 in her first 8-hour shift which was more then she use to make in a week at her old job. While stripping, Cardi B lied ot her mother by telling her she was making money babysitting.  However now things were getting better financially she still lived with her domestic abusive boyfriend that still lived with his mom and in an interview with VladTv in 2016 she said that she got out of that relationship by turning to stripping and getting her own money to be able to leave the toxic relationship so stripping helped in a big way. Stripping also started to provide her the opportunity to return back to school to study political sciences and history again. However, it did not last long and dropped about again because she says she became too distracted by boys and working almost 7 days a week. Working crazy graveyard shifts from 8pm to 4am for even long as two months straight when she was as young as 19 years old. These shifts at New York dolls in Tribeca served her well and she then grew even more ambitious and wanted to level up so moved to a more lucrative strip clubs like Lace Two where she described as a more Urban feel. Her ability to speak some Spanish did come effective when she started to overcome hurdles as she described as colorism as well as other down sides such as insecurity of the looks of her body. She then began to theorize that she could make a lot more money if she had a bigger butt and chest. So, she then decided on getting a chest done in the Dominicanrepublic as well as her butt on a lady’s table in a random basement. She says that she doesn’t even know what was even used and says, “I could die, who knows?”

Controversies of the Disney Princess

It was around this time in her life when some of her controversies accord. In March 2019 during one of her live-streams from Instagram resurfaced from 2016 she stating she had drugged and robbed men during these times when she was stripping who willingly came with her to hotel rooms for sex. The video was condemned on social media but she defended her behavior, saying it was necessary at the time for her to survive.

All this aside Cardi B did start to love stripping and all the independence and freedom it provided her and the money she made doing it. She knew that she would not do it forever and said she would retire at 25 since she one day wanted to have a child. She even retired more earlier than that and retired at 23 years old.

Cardi B Campaign in Social Media

However throughout her career of stripping Cardi B did gather Clout and Fame a ton through her social media and Instagram page gaining thousands of followers and gone viral dozens of times through videos she has posted on the internet through Instagram and Vine. I’m about this shmoney.” Being upfront and proud of her stripper lifestyle continued to build her followers and fans through its pure authenticity. Always posting daily and speaking her mind about generally taboo topics like money, sex and power. As she said “People want me to be full of shame that I use to dance. I would never be ashamed of it. I made a lot of money. I had a good time and it showed me a lot. It made me open my eyes about how people are, how men are, about hunger and passion and ambition.”

Through her continued campaigning of her true self a brooklen rapper Bobby Shumurda discovered her and helped her come up by posting her videos like 2 or 3 times getting her a lot of followers.. She says that he got her page lit and that is why she will always love them wild heavy she said during a live stream.

Things continued to go up from there with her since then in 2015 she ended up on the show Love and Hip Hop New York Season six. She was originally cast to be a supporting actress but then several episodes in the producers of the show saw quickly she could make the show that money due to her bluntness and unfiltered honesty.  She loved saying very funny and quotable stuff directly into the camera which resulted into the audience really getting attached to her personality and leaving them wanting more.
