How Much Do You Make As An Uber Food Delivery Driver?
Your Uber Eats take-home pay includes the following. For each delivery, there is a flat-rate pickup fee, an amount per mile, an amount per minute, and another flat-rate for drop off. Uber Eats will deduct a small service fee.

$2.50 pickup + $0.15 x 5.2 miles + $0.10 x 20 minutes + $3.00 drop off = $8.28 delivery fare
Who Can Become an Uber Eats Deliverer?
If you choose to drive (rather than bike or scooter) your deliveries, there are a few requirements. See below for details:
Age Requirements – Sorry minors. While you may be able to get your license at 16, you can’t be an Uber Eats driver until your at least a legal adult. There are varying requirements depending on your city. You can find out at the very beginning of the sign-up process described later in this article.
Documentation Requirements – You are required to have a personal drivers license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle registration.

What are the Different Types of Uber Eats Deliveries?
There are two types of Uber Eats Deliveries: Curbside and Walk-In. To help you feel prepared before signing up with our Uber Eats Sign-Up code, we broke down the two below:
Curbside Deliveries – These are the easiest of the two deliveries. Simply drive up outside the delivery address (ie. the curb) and hand the customer their order. No leaving the vehicle or getting lost trying to find a specific office!
Walk-In Deliveries – This is typically the type of delivery you think of. Once you pick up the order, you drive to the customer’s location, and walk to the door or office and provide the Uber food.

How to Become an Uber Eats Driver?

Step 1: Open this link. First, enter your email, name, and phone number. Then, create a password.
Step 2: Next you much select which type of driver you will be.
Step 3: In this step, you will have to go through verification to become an Uber Eats driver. A) enter your social security number. B) Review the “Background check disclosure and authorization.” C) Submit a picture of your driver’s license. D) Submit a photo of your vehicle insurance. E) Take a picture of your vehicle registration.
Step 4: Upload your photo. Make sure it meets all the requirements! It says, “Show your whole face and tops of your shoulders, take your sunglasses and hat off, and take your photo in a well-lit place. Make sure it’s welcoming!
Step 5: Congrats you’re done! You will receive a text and email when you are approved!
